Sponsoring the Cream of Local Performing Talent

Sponsoring the Cream of Local Performing Talent

I am delighted to announce our sponsorship of the super-talented Millie Christian. We will be supporting her both financially and pastorally throughout her 3 year degree course.

We have a history of sponsoring gifted sports and performing arts youngsters and young adults, and we are proud to continue the tradition with Millie. We believe that many of the core skills required to excel in sport and performing are also central to success in business and management.

Millie is 18 years old, and has danced and had musical theatre lessons since she was 4 years old. Since then she has appeared in many local productions at the magnificent Gaiety Theatre.

In September 2023, Millie begins the 'Performance in Musical Theatre' BA Hons degree course at Performance Preparation Academy (PPA) in Guildford.

It is a 3-year Musical Theatre course with an equal emphasis on Singing, Acting and Dancing. The course is full-time with contact hours of 8am-5pm, Monday to Friday. The course includes classes in technical singing, dancing and acting, acting through song, ensemble work and personal 1 to 1 tutorial throughout the 3 years.

Millie is thrilled with the sponsorship deal, and said, "By the end of the 3-year course, I would like to be an accomplished 'triple threat' performer who is ready to embark on a professional career in the industry. Ideally, I would hope that after my 3rd year showcase, I will sign with an agency which will open more doors , such as auditioning for professional Musical theatre productions. I am extremely grateful for the generous support Stuart and Auxesia have offered me."
