You may remember a post from late summer announcing our sponsorship of the talented Millie Christian. Millie has kindly sent us an update to let us know how she is getting on:
I have been training in Musical Theatre in London for 3 months now and I have never been happier! Each day is a unique experience and I love having my abilities stretched and challenged within such a supportive environment. With a timetable that is jam-packed with dance, vocal and acting training as well as well-being and theoretical classes. it’s all that I could ask for in a drama school. I can’t thank Auxesia Limited and Altitude Leadership Coaching & Development enough for sponsoring me and helping me get one step closer to my dream career. As well as the sponsorship which funds my accommodation and training, the team often check up on me and motivate me to tackle the intensity of the course. Their support helps keep me in a positive mindset in which I have been able to grow and adapt to this new, and sometimes unusual, way of living.
I feel that my technique and practical skills have come on leaps and bounds in a short amount of time, as well as my confidence within all aspects of theatre and performance.
Moving from the Isle of Man to such a different environment was difficult but I have made so many friends from all over the UK, and have learnt to be independent.
